Thank you Seniors for all your hard work in the classroom, during grueling practices and on the field during the games. I admire and respect you for your commitment and dedication. For never giving up and seeing it to the finish. Thank you for representing The University of North Texas with class and dignity. It is always difficult as an Alumnus and fan to say goodbye and it is my sincere hope that all of you will come back as fans. Join us. We need all of you. The Mean Green Nation needs you!

  Transfer portal is killing P4 as well as G5
  
  This is a half-truth, several backups, mostly 3rd and 4th stringers are opting out of the playoffs because of the portal. Starters and 2nd stringers outside of Penn State's 2nd string qb are sticking around for the playoffs. They're given an extra week to hit the portal but they can't move it back because they still have to follow the school's admissions window.

  Yes, we seem to start slow too often. Also seem to give up a lot of easy baskets inside the paint without much resistance. Need to get shooting and rim defense straightened out quickly to have a season comparable to last year.
