I seem to recall a DT that had relatives connected to UNT we never offered or contacted to see if there was any interest on his part. His relative mentioned he was interested. 

If we stand against the wall and never ask the pretty girl to dance we have 0% chance of her dancing with us. Asking at least gets us to 50%.

You're not totally wrong there...but it's more like 15%
