I'm not too concerned with what we get right now. This staff hasn't been successful due to winning head to head recruiting battles. They've done that a few times like with Guyton and Henson, but they've had more success at the end with guys who had their offer lists dry up (Nick Smith, Rico Bussey, Ladarius Hamilton, Eric Jenkins), and guys with no other FBS offers who they evaluated successfully (Fine, Sosaia Mose, Ejiya, Hall, Muhammad). I think that's the extent of Littrell signees who start for us (Lawrence was a walkon).

Anything here is gravy, imo. Even though there is an early signing period, as long as there are only 25 spots per class still, we still should be fine with what we've been successful doing.

This staff will continue to struggle as long as your Recruiting coordinator is more worried about pretending to be a coach and has zero recruiting and personal skills.

And your high school relations is just worried about coordinating book readings at the local middle school... 

Just my opinion. But I'm a homer

Wasn’t he like a GA or LB coach out at Fresno State? Any chance we see a change at the spots you had mentioned?

      2025 Roster Construction

      after reading through the Iowa State fan forum, I'm pretty excited to have landed Watson. seems to be a high-motor, defense-oriented tough basketball player and apparently a great dude and teammate that many Cyclone fans wished was getting more minutes. not predicting a Lorient-like jump in offensive states, but I think he's an 8 and 8 dude. his whole highlight real is either dunks or blocks. looks like a stronger-build version of Aaron Scott.

      nothing but good things and well-wishes from the ISU board...this is all REALLY encouraging https://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/threads/demarion-watson-has-entered-the-portal.292003/ DWat stepped up huge for this team in some really big spots. Wish it would have worked out where he could carve out a bigger role but I'm excited to see him find somewhere he can play and produce a ton. Will miss him for sure. Someone is going to get a really good player and teammate , and I sincerely wish him well. Bummed to lose Demarion but I get it. A very unique athlete and can absolutely help someone out. One of my favorite players of the last few years. I'll be rooting loudly for him wherever he lands. The amount of love I have for DWat, if measured per minute played, is more than any Cyclone ever. He was the ultimate teammate. Ok I’m going to get flamed for this, but oh well. I felt he was completely unutilized. He was not going to light up the scoreboard but his energy and defense was well apparent when he did come in to play. I’m also not comparing him to Dennis Rodman , but he was never a scorer either, but absolutely wreaked havoc with rebounding and defense. I don’t understand why there was never a purpose when we needed stops when the offense wasn’t doing anything for minutes at a time while the other team was scoring at will.
