Pep Rally

My wife is taking some masters classes, so we took the fam to the pep rally tonight.  Had some giveaways, announced $10 tickets for students, and a package for first 160 students with bus, ticket, and hotel room with one other person for $60.  Good deal.  

This pep rally though really was all about getting in front of the students to talk about the fee after giving away free stuff and cheap tickets.  Great move.  Wren basically said that if everyone there would vote yes, that it would pass.  Hope they all did.

cool prizes and great info about the cheap tickets/package, but i was really disappointed with the attendance...was hoping for so much more...

Agree.  Expected a lot more. It was amost all students and not a ton of them.

oh well....at least they did something...some showed up...got some cool prizes...hopefully, spread the word on what others missed out on

I know people on here are going to get mad, but this NO Bowl match up doesn't move the needle for many fans.

I'm glad Baker pushed this event to the students with incentives to go, and I hope it helps get the fee passed.

If it helps even a little to get the fee passed, it’s a success.   Would be a big moment killer if it fails, but nice shot in the arm of it passes.

I wish they did stuff like this when I went to school.  I also wish we went to bowl games when I went to school.

This fee increases i'm sure other people know is not for facilities or coaches salaries, etc... It is meant to do things like take the band to road games, and improve champs dinning facility that is used by the different sports teams, among other things..
