I don't know why you'd be looking forward to the game with Arkansas. Arkansas SEC and even though they are a less than stellar team in the SEC there offensive and defensive lines are HUGH compared to UNT. Until UNT can recruit and develop our OL & DL with better and more talented linemen it's going to be a long day for Mason F. our offense, and defense.

I sure hope our staff has a good/great recruiting year with lot of big, productive OL & DL talent. UNT sure does need it.

I can't help but feel the big winner in this situation is SMU....

If this is all true, I think you're right.   Graham is the right fit for SMU.  I think Morris was trying to do things the right way down there.   Graham will do whatever gets him ahead.

Wow.   Wonder how the Arkansas boosters/fans are going to react here.   Hope the pigs are ready for some more mediocrity, but if he has a NFL caliber WR, he's going to smash us next season...     ...probably why they hired him.

Graham is a great replacement for him at SMU.  They needed a little more sleaze down there.

Losing their frickin minds. They don't know crap about football outside of the SEC West and all they see is a mediocre record in AAC. They think their admin has lost their mind.

And I just realized we played Arkansas next year.  I am looking forward to that game.

Be interesting what the spread looks like at Arkansas next year with a bunch of guys recruited to play Big 10 smashmouth football.

Any chance they’d try to beat Littrell down with cash to move 30 minutes south? As much as we hate them, we still can’t match their cash.

I'd be more concerned about that if Littrell had played SMU competitively over the past 2 years, or hadn't flopped VS FAU.  I don't think it'll happen.  But then again, I didn't think anyone would be crazy enough to hire Morris away either.

Have you looked at NT's offensive line?

The defense NT plays is based on quick linemen not big except the middle position.

The issue for lineman is not size, NT could recruit a bunch of giants.   The difference is the talent variance between most players a NT can sign vs a prominent P5 team.

Had similar thoughts about Anderson and SMU. Our QB went out in the first half and we collapsed so I can't see the fans thinking they need to hire him.

I hope Morris falls flat on his face and UA fails. At least maybe then ASU and UCA can get some love since they have been the better programs the past 3 yrs.

Venables would have been the better hire. UA needs help on Defense.

Morris is a solid hire. I wonder if he would be getting grief if was still the Successful OC at Clemson and was hired away from there. He is a very solid recruiter and now has head coaching experience. Look for UA getting some Texas boys.

If he was getting hired as OC, I agree.  His defenses have been very not good.  Like ranked 100+ not good.  Better fit for Big 12 than SEC imo.
