If I had to guess in the current system, he'd be a true DE.

If you look over the last few years our heaviest LB has been BG at 230. The 3-3-5 needs guys that can move well in zone blitz schemes, as well as laterally to the flats/up the seams. That's why McDonald, being a former safety, played so much. Gotta be able to cover space. JoJo will likely take over for Wheeler at the Jack with Ejiya/BG starting going into the spring. I won't be surprised to see a kid like Brown(if he commits) starting in the middle when it's all said and done.

I figure he would be a DE, but would really like to see use add him as a LB... Wheeler took a pounded playing at or under 225 vs Tackles.. Also, think playing him at the Jack gives you the ability to stop the run more

I would also like to see a bigger LB in the rotation. 6’2 235lbs would be nice. At least in short yardage and goal line.. also having English will make our LB a lot better!

Agreed... We need size at the LB spot... I'm fine with someone like EJ at LB when he has English/Young in front keeping guys off him, but having a 225 or lighter LB taking on tackles like Wheeler was, it allows for him to get beaten up and worn down..  need more size on the DL/LB is critical, and speed as well at the LB spot.
