I don't think that's Briles' offense any more than we run Harrell's offense. KB is a foot soldier running Papa Lane's show.

Man I don't know. Sure looks like Baylor.

Why didn't Kiffin run this at Bama? He was the OC.

His boss at Bama would have sooner drowned his own family than to turn the keys over to Lane and an offense like that.

Kiffin is way too arrogant/confident as an offensive coach to just hand over the keys.

Evidently he was running papa Saban's offense.

I don't think I've ever had the dislike for Lane Kiffin like a lot of folks.  Yeah he's probably done some questionable things but I think people forget or don't realize just how young he is.  He's only 42 years old...not that much older than SL folks.  He literally went from being a coordinator at USC to an NFL head coach at the age of 31-32. and we know his career path after that.  The guy has done a ton, and been around a really really long time yet he's still pretty young.

Kiffin has plenty of time to get any major CFB program if he so wishes.  I think he's great for a program like FAU and great for the conference.  I wouldn't want him to leave CUSA the same way people shouldn't want SL to leave UNT if they keep their programs trending upward.

My point is Kiffin's never run an offense like this anywhere he's been. This is the Briles offense. It is identical to what they ran at Baylor. Hurry up, balanced pass run, go vertical.

Ya, not disagreeing.  Trying to follow prior poster's logic.

Actually you are wrong.  It's KB's offense with LK's input.  The offense doesn't actually have a playbook.  Kiffin made a comment saying if KB left he could call the plays but not like KB does.

Lane to ASU or UCF?

UCF is not a big enough step up.  He could replicate at FAU.  UCF-FAU is on the schedule next year.  That should be a lot of fun!  ASU don't think its big enough of a job for LK he will take a pass and wait.  He's got a team that is almost entirely coming back next season.  He can wait.

I guess instead of wanting improvement for our own program we can just want our competition to get worse. But if you want that solution, there's a home in the Sun Belt and FCS.

I can understand but there is a liminted number of openings every year. I could only see him in the SEC or The PAC 12 which narrows it down even more. Triple his salary and move on now!

LK told KB what to run plenty this season.  Don think believe watch the drastic 180 the offense did randomly in games. Now, to that point the stuff worked and looked genius,  Baylor used IZ and OZ a shot run plays with very little misdirection.  They want to play FAST.
