IMO great call by the coaches on that fake FG.  Shambour just missed the throw.

He missed him. He was wide open and had several steps on the FAU defender

Was that a catch?

No and our coaches are too busy with their heads in their asses to challenge it. We are getting out coached in every phase of the game. It's like we are just happy to be here and don't care about winning.

So umm about all those people demanding and entitled that NT should play a bowl game against a better opponent or a P5 program.....

FAU legitimately looks like a P5 or a far far superior team than us right now...you can't even call this a fluke since this is the 2nd time they're playing.

How did we not challenge that catch? It looked like he didn't have full possession until he stepped out.

You have a point.  Why not call for it?

First meeting 24-0 at the end of the first, only 10-0 this time, but somehow doesn't feel any better.

It's only better on the scoreboard.   And, they are 3 yards from making it 17-0.

that catch would have been worth a challenge but guess coaches want to save a TO

Yea - they seem to like to take them into half time with them. Maybe someday they will realize they don't carry over.

That's the kind of speed Boise State was recruiting when they first started making Top 25 polls on an annual basis. HINT! HINT!

And that speed exists in Florida.  Not sure why we always think that others would like a series with us so that the other team can recruit in Texas but we have *NEVER* used our trips to Florida to do the same.  We are Texas-blind when it comes to recruiting.

Should have gone for it there with 4th and inches, even from their own 35.    This is a very rare case.

We shouldn't punt in this game. It doesn't seem to matter much where they take possession anyway.

The difference with the first game. Defense is actually a smidgen better, which is still terrible, but at least holding up better in the red zone. Offene is just awefull and worse and not helping an overmatched defense at all.
