That’s awesome…at least until some other jackass school gives him the $4mil he wants. If Tennessee truly moves on from him, I’ll be hoping they win their minor league conference. -

Spring Practice Updates
This is happening everywhere now. Baylor’s point guard signed a new $1M deal with their collective one week then signed a $2M deal with BYU the next week. The House settlement won’t fix it either. That is just going to create a new mess. -

Softball at FAU
Gonna be tough....but if we could win one of the next two.....I'd be giddy. Or even giddier for a sweep. FAU is super good though. And their stadium setting......gorgeous. Palm trees right past the OF fence. Games today at 1....tomorrow at 11am. On the + I think Miss Anneca earned the start tomorrow. I guess Skylar goes today. And maybe, just maybe.....not being "the ace"......she'll pitch well. She certainly has the size/talent. GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!! -

Huss Leaving High Point To Be Creighton's "Coach In Waiting"
Quitting or breaking away is silly. We (G5) collectively have been able to compete when given opportunities and the really big bad apples have been cheating at this since the beginning. NIL itself is not going to kill us. It doesn’t really change anything. What we need is a limit to the unlimited free transfers. Or contracts. Just some way to maintain continuity from year to year so we can build a team and a fanbase. Even if we can’t get a solution there, we have positioned ourself to be in the top quarter of all D1 schools, high enough up the food chain that we can do exactly what the bigger boys do to us: raid the schools just below us on the ladder.
