We were competitive throughout the game but beating OU (this year) would not have been a “massive” upset. UTA beat this team in Norman by 15. Again, great effort by the Mean Green but this is the least talented OU squad they’ve had in a while. (The local kid, however,  is special) 

Also, don’t agree with Vito’s “Star of the Game”. Ryan Woolridge is clearly the MVP of this team early in the season. He will lead the team in turnovers but I can’t imagine what this team would look like without him.

OU was favored by 29.5 going into the game, per ESPN. That qualifies as being a massive underdog.

I don’t follow spreads. Never have. According to spreads, we were going to beat UT Rio Grande. That’ why folks win a lot of money going away from it.

Considering where we were and the fact that OU is probably a top 64 team then yes it would've been a massive upset.  Im also not sure how they arent more talented then OU's squad last year? The beat Oregon played Arkansas tough.

I dont put a lot of stock into exhibition games that dont really mean much. We know UTA is good, but OU is good too
