App State is 6-5. On the App State fan forum they were lamenting losing to ULL (3-9) by 6 points on Wednesday night before coming to Denton.
It was their first Sun Belt Conference game for both teams. ULL, opened up a 23-5 lead, but App St. closed in the second half. They missed a lot of 3-pointers (4/18) and free throws (18/29).
To rub salt in the wound, ULL fired their coach of 15 years after the win, Bob Marlin....

Over the past couple years since he's got here they have commented more than once that they kept track of this and discussed it with players. The problem is most players believe they will be the exception to the rule and that they are the ones that can make it at the next level.
Probably a bit smaller than a true DE, but much more versatile. If teams are living in 3rd and short 2 or less. Odds are they are kicking your butt and 3rd down is the LEAST of your worries.
