Texas State to PAC 12
We should be doing everything we can to get into the New PAC before the window closes. We get squat from the AAC and unfortunately it will likely be a shell of its former self in a 5 years. Losing SMU hurt. We don't get to play a local rival in any of our sports. We got Army as a replacement, but for football only. Our athletic program resume across the board is good and getting better, we have nice facilities and we have location, location, location on our side. It's not like we "bring the DFW market," but at least we are in the market. We are relatively easy to travel to which has to be a plus. We don't need a travel partner or to pair up with anyone else to make it worth it. Please, for the future of our athletic program, get it done.- 1

On the bright side
I don't think so. I think they're going to look at the offense and start poking around... a good AD that is, trying to be thorough. And we didn't make national waves, so the AD making what would be considered a risky hire would have to be local to the region. Which at the moment there are no openings... https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/43939856/mens-college-basketball-coaching-changes-tracker-2025-2026 Maybe Minnesota? Given they played us and lost, will never outrecruit their competition and thus will need to be different. It'd be an out of RF hire, but that's the only opening that would look up Ross' skirt. -

Money, It Just Means More
Not necessarily. We have to schedule systemically as a unit. Then go win some of those games. Our best teams will need to rise during league play throughout the year, as was true this year. But we're hurting on a few fronts... Our scheduling and the traditionally good teams just not being very good... WSU, Temple, Tulsa. -

On the bright side
He can recruit/reload yearly and win 20 games a season. Many ADs will take a chance on that alone, even though he no upset wins or trophies as HC yet.- 1
