Enjoy your D.C. Last game, and your short success. ย NCAA will be knocking on FAU door shortly I'm sure. ย  Oh you must not remember last game when our offense also forgot to show up. ย It's all good though, ย I was making a bit of a sarcastic joke, and you come back with that. ย

You talk about celebrating on our turf and Iโ€™m not supposed to say anything, cโ€™mon man.

As far as the NCAA is concerned if your referring to Laneย you obviously donโ€™t know anything about him, if you are referring to his brother itโ€™s already done. ย Two year ban on recruiting but the great thing is it makes it more likely the whole family sticks around for at least two more years and we can get some Ole Miss transfers seniors that can now play immediately so all in all a pretty good trade off donโ€™t you think.

Btw, if you guys continue to do well your coach wonโ€™t be around after two years either but you wonโ€™t have any conference championships to show for it.

On the ground at the stadium, I guess the most disappointing thing about this is no one from UNT organized an official tailgate/meet and greet. Is there a reason they couldn't have set up a few tents and had the band playing or a boombox or something? Are we scared to sanction it for fear of people not showing up to it?

I see green walking around and a few small scattered FAU tailgates... And zero UNT tailgates.

If we are talking about our NCAAT chances, as long as MNS holds serve, I am not sure how bad this loss will look.       +1. Or when we actually start winning bowl games. Some of y'all would be loving the Frisco bowl if we were winning big and attendance was filling it up.       UNT Student-Athletes Boast Increased GSR Rate

      DENTON, Texas โ€“ Mean Green student-athletes recorded their ninth consecutive year with a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) above 82 or better with an 84 for the 2016-17 cohort, the NCAA announced Wednesday. Out of UNTโ€™s 12 sport programs, 10 recorded impressive rates above 82. Seven programs improved or maintained their scores from the previous year including football, womenโ€™s basketball, soccer, softball, womenโ€™s tennis, womenโ€™s track and field/cross country along with swim and dive. Womenโ€™s basketball tied the program record with a 95. Additionally, football set a new program milestone with an 87. Womenโ€™s tennis maintained a perfect 100 for a record ninth year in a row. From the time GSR data collection began with the 1995-98 cohort, UNT has improved from a score of 59 to 84 (25-point increase). The GSR was developed by the NCAA as part of its academic reform initiative to more accurately measure the academic success of Division I student-athletes by better accounting for the many different academic paths followed by today's college students. The NCAA also released the most recent federal graduation rate data in conjunction with the GSR information. The GSR holds institutions accountable for transfer students, whereas the federal graduation rate does not. The GSR also accounts for mid-year enrollees. The NCAA calculates the federal graduation rate for student-athletes because it is the only rate by which to compare student-athletes to the general student body.
