Not a big enough name, BUT remember that name. Due to son, thus my money, going to UNT I went to 6 or 7 UNT ganes the last 2 years and that guy is doing an amazing job.

If Texas Tech would have been smart, they would have canned Kliff and grabbed Littrell. A future star in the making in my opinion

Recruiting will be toward the top of any list of any school looking for a new HFC.

Honestly, I think SL's recruiting will officially take off this recruiting season based on wins, better attendance & the fact that the players have bought into his program. Potential recruits will see that when on campus, especially when they visit with our present players.

Our "D" is where its at now because we don't have enough players to spell some fine athletes we already have on our "D"; but that mostly due to recruiting that took place before Seth Littrell was hired. Guess a school should then recruit solid every year or at least that's how it appears those perennial winning programs who have 7 or 8 winning season in a row do it.

CAN YOU BLAME THEM FOR LOOKING & TESTING THE WATERS? (Always nice to be wanted)?

Fry interviewed at (then) SWC Rice U after his 3'rd season at North Texas. Rice AD & former Owl great Dickie Moegle offered him the job as I recall reading in the DMN. Yet Fry (the forever salesman) came back to Denton saying he had a better job at North Texas. We got 3 more years from him before he took the Big 10 Iowa Hawkeye job.

I hope we will get at least 3 more years from Seth Littrell so he can finish building the solid foundation he has going now.

The entire SEC is nuts behind Saban’s Alabama domination. You can’t keep your job at any of these places except the bottom feeder SEC programs Vandy and maybe Kentucky. But if you are a good coach at one those “bottom feeder” schools you will probably help get coaches at all the other programs fired. The boosters and fans of these programs are insane. Seth going there would just be a money grab. Because in 3 years unless he works miracles they will be looking to fire him in Aggie land.

If the Aggies hire Jimbo they will be paying another buyout in 4 years or less. Chad Morris would be a better fit with his Texas and Aggie roots. He inherited a dumpster fire at SMU similar to the one that Littrell inherited for us.

If you recall, the last year before Morris we beat down SMUg 43-6 and that was WITH Josh Greer as the starting quarterback. Wrap your mind around that for a second. We beat them so bad that their coach quit on them. The very next season Morris led the Phonies to a 31-13 win over us. He has beaten Littrell in both head-to-head meetings. Morris isn’t as mediocre of a coach as you would believe @TheColonyEagle. It would be a great thing for us if the Aggies hired Morris and it would be great for the Aggies too.

Sure. But here is my question: Yes UNT lost to SMU this season... but looking forward to next season with or without Morris, would you bet a lot that SMU will beat UNT? I wouldn't. It seemss to me that Littrells arrow is pointing upward more steeply than Morris'

Considering the perceptions of the programs, I am surprised Morris name comes up so much more than Littrells. not that I have a problem with it, I like it that way right now. Just saying.

I’m saying whoever replaces Morris will not be as good and will be better for us both on the field and in recruiting.
