Maybe we can pick up some of the A&M commits that now may want to build something in #NewDenton.

......especially if some of the commits look like this......

Image result for monster from the movie "return of the jedi"

Don't feed them for a couple of days before each game.

Plain and simple, the administration thought they should be on the next level (top 10-15 every year, compete for the CFP every 3-4) and Sumlin showed year after year that no matter the resources provided, level of recruiting classes, or even strong starts (5-0 three times), he couldn't get them there.

How many more opportunities do you think A&M should have given him? How many more QBs do you think he should have run through, ran off, or coaches blamed and fired for his inability to pull it all together?

Not surprised. I saw a post that stated he has 31 wins since Manziel and 13 of those or so are in body bag games. Don't quote me on the numbers but he really hasn't been impressive since Manziel. Have to produce more when you get paid like a top 10 coach.

Tough spot for the Ags.  They have spent a ton of money on facilities and coaching on the promise that now they are are out from under UT that they were going to start being a blueblood of football.  Unfortunately for them they have stayed as a middling team for the most part.

You can't lose to UCLA the way they did while on thin ice.

UCLA made it easy.  All the best TAMU.

Why would Jimbo Fisher leave FSU???? Didn’t the AD say Fisher has a job as long as he was there?

I'm not sure why either party would want this... i don't think they will elevate each other in any way.

My buddy that's in the athletic department out there said Jimbo, or chad morris. The only names he brought up and/or heard of in his circles so, for what it's worth.

From A&M's perspective, they get a swell of hope because Fisher has a championship and that is what he COULD do for them. Makes sense to me. Why Fisher would want to leave the ACC, a program that values legacies and seemingly would give him more leniency for down years than others...that I don't know.

Sumlin did not win enough but I am not sure how much you can win going against Alabama, LSU and Auburn.  Will they be satisfied being 4th in their division most years?  Cause assuming LSU or Auburn have down years Arkansas, Ole Miss and Mississippi State make noise from time to time.  No matter how good a recuriter you are the raw talent gap is going to be minimal during most of you Conference schedule.  They might be financially better off in the SEC but few programs are as financially well off as UT and the have struggled for going on 6 years now.  What would be epically funny to me would be Sumlin ending up at UT in few years and making a playoff run.
