It was a great day for a Mean Green Nation get together.  

Holy smokes SilverEagle and I found IslandEagle at the tailgate party.  Been a long time.  Good seeing you again my friend.

He’s sporting the original (and more zoologically accurate) talon hand sign.

I believe it is for accuracy. 

I stick to the hand sign I was taught though.

Thank you.  The AD Dept changed the hand sign in the mid 90's.  Hard habit to break.

I live in Houston, but was in N. Texas for Thanksgiving. I was back in H-Town yesterday and watched game on ESPN 3. One of the announcers on TV broadcast was former NFL player and had nothing to say but good things about UNT players and UNT as a program. Announcer did try to say positive things about Rice and there coach who is probably going to be fired. However, Rice program is at low point. UNT's program has been were Rice is for many years.

UNT Nation owes Seth and entire coaching staff many thanks for there hard work turning UNT program around. If we lose coach Littrell the UNT program is light years ahead of where it was when coach Littrell was hired at UNT. The Wren's job is to fine another great coach to take Littrell's place.

I never thought I'd see the day, or at least this soon that UNT football would be 9-3 with realistic opportunity to go 11-3 in a season.

This can't do anything but help UNT recruiting and other athletic facilities upgrade/improvements.

Without a doubt. We made the trip from CC. It was a great day. Was so proud of the mean green fans.... great crowd for an out-of-town game.  The UNT crowd became more vocal as the game wore on... Great showing for UNT!

It was great. We enjoyed the game.... Good guess, but not Flour Bluff... We live on N. Padre Island.

That’s what I as thinking too. Additionally, the ones that had family in houston and spent thanksgiving their for the weekend.

Great photo @UNT 90 Grad. Goes to show why it’s smart adding UH to our schedule in coming years. Alternating Rice and UH home and away each year is awesome for engaging our current fans and building on our base.
