on your beat, how often do you come across someone micking a drink to force a girl to let her guard down...so that someone can then shoot her multiple times?

Still early to say why she would be drugged, if she was.  It could have been to get her into bed, but she fought and it escalated, or maybe it was to kill her all along.  Different drugs have different effects from causing someone to lose inhibitions to causing them to lose consciousness completely.
