Agree on the polished comment. Ma'syn Howell and Tyran Mason look like great pieces for the future, maybe they get some more minutes as the year progresses.
Sadly, one of the only North Texas traditions that make it from one NT generation to another. Wrinkled $100 bills are just as valid today as when I originally coined that analogy back in about 1973. TCU, has "RIFF RAM BAH ZOO" and we have "wrinkled $100 bills".
The US economy has actually performed way better since the pandemic than pretty much everywhere else. That's not to say thing are great for everyone (of course they never are - no matter how good things are doing, some folks are always living in poverty) in the States, but if one looks at the world at large, just about every nation has dealt with worse inflation than us.
Of course, didn't we all learn in school (I know I did - both in government and economics classes!), that the president has a limited ability to improve/worsen the economy. Obviously government matters some, but I also know they get WAY too much credit when things are humming along and likewise are blamed WAY too much when things aren't. It's the nature of the beast, even if it's not exactly fair.
