Wilson has a broken bone in his foot, don’t know which one.

Guyton checked out with a mild concussion. He shouldn’t be out long. Wouldn’t think they would need to play him vs. Rice, even if he is cleared.

That's the good thing about this offense. While Guyton is the best guy we have at WR, Smiley, Jackson, and Rutherford have all made plays this year

I honestly don't know how long the starters will be in against Rice anyways

Don't forget Lawrence, Bussey, Darden, and Smith.

The boot was on his right leg. Or did you mean which bone? I have no information to add. Nevermind.

Do we know how badly broken? Is it like a hairline fracture that can heal quickly or is it worse. I know bones healing in the foot are difficult.

Bryce English knows a thing or two about this

Didn’t get specifics on Wilson other than a broken bone. Probably because he hadn’t seen a specialist at the time.

Did get specifics on Darden and although concusions are a serious matter, it doesn’t seem to be anything that will have a lasting effect.

I know that he does. I saw quite a few broken foot bones in the Army from foot marching and sometimes people would be in those walking boots for months. Just when they would think it was healed, they would X-ray and realize it was still broken.

Good to know Darden will be okay. I hope Wilson is not too serious. Would love to have him back if we play in the Independence Bowl.

When did Darden go down?

This is dangerous thinking. Rice is better than UTEP, and is at home (yes I know that is not super meaningful in Rices case). But even against a horrible UTEP it took till the second half for UNT to really pull away. Without Wilson and also having lost even more of the DL it may actually not be all that quick for UNT to pull away.
