Prior to our game kicking off, Dickey’s Memphis offense put up 66 on SMU and made them 6-5 on the season.  Yes, they are bowl eligible, but if Tulane can take care of business next week they will roll into their bowl game as a .500 team.   Tulane just beat Houston, beat Army earlier in the year, and have won two straight...come on Green Wave!!!

The Tulane coach is a heck of a coach. He ran the Georgia Southern option attack for years. He was rumored to be in the hunt for the NT job. He definitely runs a style to get more with less (sorta like Army).

Could we play Southern Meth in a bowl game ?  We played ARMY after playing them in the regular season.  I think it would be cool to have Southern Meth decline to play in a bowl game rather than face us.

I get torn in these situations.  I have a strong dislike for SMU, but their success makes our loss to them better.  But then again, any success they have can negatively impact our recruiting.  I dunno.
