I love and respect our service academies, and I respect and appreciate this guys choice to defend our country, but last season his style of play really rubbed me the wrong way.

I didn't care much for the way he played when we beat them at West Point, and I didn't like his style of play in the HOD either. I hope our receivers catch 7 touchdowns on this guy today.

He looks like he is going to be one of the 2LTs who doesn't listen to his NCOs and they are going to have to let him fall on his face before he learns. Hahahaha

After more than 23 years of service, I can tell you that you are right. We like to think that they are not, but we get our folks from the general population so yeah we have pieces of $h!t too.

Yes, this kid acted like an idiot and played very cheap. Here’s to hoping we toast him a few times today!

Yeah that hit was definitely targeting. That POS will be a sorry 2LT. I hope whoever he gets as a Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Commander put his cheap shot artist a$$ in place when he gets on active duty.

I dated a first sergeant last year.  That's when I learned that brass on the collar does not inherently a classy, compassionate, or even particularly intelligent human being make.

No brass on a first sergeant's collar. That's enlisted personnel, and the amount of bitterness and self hate to hang around the military to climb the ranks to that level must be very high.

I understand no brass on the first sergeant's collar.  I was referring to the officers she had to deal with.

      Don't get to far ahead of our self we will have to #hit6 first. I would act like this bowl is bad. if your team was better we would be in a better bowl. like I said before, I do not care which bowl, just win.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      as mentioned in another thread, three pretty easy wins last night (11/19) for Rice, Tulane and Charlotte. Evansville lost 80-30 to Ohio State. UNI won. not all, but the most interesting games coming up: tonight (11/20) - not a ton...Tulsa host UALR (who already blew out UTSA), but if Tulsa is any good should take care of. 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next) ; Oregon State host Oregon ; Houston Christian v. Rice ; ECU v. Jacksonville State (3 day tourney...would play Toledo or Stetson next) 11/22 - Utah State v. Iowa and St. Louis v. Wichita State (same venue, but not a tourney) ; McNeese v. Illinois State and UAB v. Longwood (same side of bracket) ; Temple v. Florida State ; ECU/FAU game 2 of 3 11/23 - Temple v. UMASS 11/24 - High Point v. Missouri State (3 day tourney...would play ODU or Boston College next) there will be more games 11/23 and 11/24 as some of these tournaments shake out, but definitely some interesting games starting tomorrow

      Texas Wesleyan (11/21/24)

      Texas Wesleyan is one of those athlete mill schools that take advantage of kids/parents who really want to be a college athlete. The majority of students at the school are athletes and the teams will take almost anyone to be on the roster as long as they can qualify for an overpriced college loan to afford the tuition.
