This program is not devoid of talent.  Woolridge is a legit PG and AJ is one of the better players in the conference.  He certainly left something behind to build around.

I won’t thank him for anything. He left this program in a bad state. He didn’t leave us in any position to compete in the conf. GMac has had to rebuild this program from the ground up.

Message boards are better when you have people to debate. It’s not like UNT90 was wrong about this stuff. Where else would an AD oversee a complete destruction of a program that was winning at the same time the main sport was getting laughed at for some of the worst seasons and games a program could roll out over a decade? Everything we are dealing with now, even with McCasland, SL, and WB now being in charge, has to be seen thru the lens of reality that the chump who ran this thing into the ground was able to steal money from here for about 10 years longer than he should have...or to put it another way, about 12 years longer than any other university would’ve allowed.

Everyone enjoys healthy debate. But it often goes beyond that with him as if no one is entitled to their own opinion. It gets personal. There is no need to debate RV or Benford any longer. They're gone, but it's never enough for him. It has to get personal and frankly, I'm sick of reading it. It's a new era now. Time to move forward and stop dwelling on the past. He's made his point ad nausium.

Basketball is the quickest sport to turnaround McCasland  brought in his entire Arkansas St coaching staff and recruits. Benford won’t have much to do with whether this coach is successful or not (this year). Long time to move on.
