I know it's almost an entirely different roster, but I think we hover around .500. We should at least win all of our OOC home games.

My vote is very optimistic for McCasland, but I was also optimistic about Benford when he arrived so my vote shouldn't count for our new coach (but I voted anyway) :-)

I hope he can at least TRIPLE Benford's conference win # from last year.   Who here wouldn't take a 3-fold improvement in 1 year?  However, that would only get us 6 conference wins.

I'll take the growing pains this year since he's got an entirely new roster (just 6 guys from last year's team return, thankfully Woolridge & Lawson are 2 of them).

Who knows?  Maybe he can get the whole team to buy in and gel quickly, and we could make a run to somewhere around .500!

Cautiously optimistic.

My mind is racing back to the first few games of Benford's tenure.  I don't get the sense that McCasland or anyone would ever make my stomach sink like that again.

Also, did you read Vito's article about McCasland's family?  Hoping he's here for longer than 2 yrs.

Of course not!  See my statement above.  Trying not to get attached means not reading everything that comes out about him.
