Ladies lose to ASU

South Alabama does in fact go down to WKY...so we keep our tie for division lead.

BTW: In men's action UNO goes down to MTSU - so now we're co-leaders with LA Lafayette only.

The girls just weren't hitting their shots tonight, they outplayed Arkansas St. until about the last 5 minutes, tho. Still a good game, and lots of fun.

That was a REALLY ugly game, especially down the stretch when the girls seem to half heartedly pass the ball around. It seemed like we had 4 or 5 dumb turn-overs in the last 5 minutes, and at the same time the ASU team seemed to stay pumped the entire time. Finally, just like last week, both teams had HORRIBLE shooting percentages, especially down low. ECK.. I hope this gets better quickly!

Oh yeah, most definantly.. sorry, I was just a little bumbed out when I wrote that (probably because that was the first loss I've seen all season from the guys or girls). I'm still really excited about this years chances for success... Strange things have happened at the conference tourney and I think we could surprise people
