CUSA head coach salaries continue to surprise me.  I did not realized nUTSAk was paying 1.1 million.  North Texas will again have to have to step it up a notch to stay competitive, particularly if we win a bowl game this year.

This makes me wonder what UTEP will pay their new coach, but I can't help but feel, that it will be nowhere near that amount.

On UABs part I think this is a smart extension, given that Clark has looked pretty solid since he is there. I think he is probably about the third or fourth best coach currently in C-USA and he sure has done his share of personal investment into UAB.

Not just campuses as this is at the statel level. The top paid employee in 39 of 50 states is a basketball or football coach.

Before they replied again, I was going to say I could see it being unusual at UAB considering the prestige of their medical school. Specialized medical professors make boucaux bucks.
