Both teams won again today and soccer in 3rd place -volleyball in 2nd place in the conference!

Soccer just won their first round game in the tourney. Beat MTSU 4-1.

I hope the face FAU and dominate them.

#1 seed Rice lost to #8 Charlotte 1-0.  Winning the tourney got a little easier.

Hopefully with the building of a new soccer complex North Texas can host the tournament in the near future.

Watching the championship game... i admit I am a soccer snob... but this looks like bad soccer, in my opinion. Kinda trash soccer.  I want to chalk it up to the fact that they are just tired. And, I haven't seen a single game this season... but this kind of play is perfectly on par with most headland coached teams.  We do well season in and season out because we have talent, but we play poorly. And our style of play makes it nearly impossible to win tourney games... which is why we haven't won any tourney games.
