At this point last year, we lost to UTSA and finished 1-5 in our last 6 games.

I don't know if this year's team is better than last year's, but I feel pretty good about squeaking out at least a couple more wins.  That would make us a 7+ win team.

I think what is forgotten about our final stretch was that we also played LT and WKU -- two teams that were clearly better than everyone in the league. 

The loss to UTEP was very bad, the loss to UTSA was because of our freshman QB doing freshman QB things. Finally, we played okay (offensively) against Army but lost in a game in OT.

I do not think it was a collapse. Team faced the toughest part of the schedule and fell short. Thought depth issues took it's toll.

Agree last year we faced our toughest part of the schedule at the end.. 

This year, it was from SMU to FAU.. We just need to hope they can maintain this level of play vs the weaker teams.. This is when UNT could and should put distance on other programs and gives them ALOT of positives going into a hopefully bowl game and offseason.

I think they win 3 out of the last 4. I am just not sure if the loss comes from LAT or Army. I predicted at the beginning of the season that LAT would be a loss. Hopefully they win all 4.
