Two seasons removed from 1-11 we are all alone atop the CUSA West standings at 4-1 and 5-3 overall.  So, despite all the excuses and rationalizing by "fans", we are putting a product on the field that deserves an audience.  

I don't give a rat's ass about style points...sitting in the driver's seat for a bid in the conference title game is pretty enough for me

I go to all the games and the cardiac kids are about give me a heart attack.  We were exposed last week but sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.  I like that the team never quits but we need to learn how to put away teams.  We should have won this by halftime.  I don't know how we would do in a bowl game but if we play the big boys I think we would lose badly.

I did my part, canceled a weekend trip of travel to attend the UTSA game, while worth it, the lose last week took the wind out of my sails enough not to attend today. With that said I'll be at the army game and will bring a bunch of people with with no alliance to UNT minus me.

Would this be the same La Tech that lost to both UAB and USM?  

 

Perhaps we should just commend our boys for finishing games...something that we have struggled with in the recent past, and something that the rest of our conference has failed to do

You take the W and win the West.  We have to seize this opportunity.  Because  Of that surprise performance in Hattiesburg I won’t concede anything isn’t possible, including beating a big boy. These moments must be captured when a season like this is unfolding. GMG

Didn't see too many complaints after SoMiss.

We should have beat UAB worse & ODU worse.  Frustrating wins for sure.... but better than frustrating losses like FAU.

Thank you! We won for Pete's sake! Shoot I had casual football fan people telling me tonight saying "Wow, UNT is really good this year."

Some people aren't even noticing that they squeaked by with a 7 point difference over Old Dominion. They see the 5-3 record, and that we are top in CUSA west. 

I'm bugged by the 69 point spanking FAU gave us the most, but I'm sure proud to see North Texas leading CUSA, rather than bottomfeeding in it.
