I have been one of the most vocal critics of Jerome Rogers this year. Earlier in the season, I was cringing when I would see him do his Globetrotter dribbling performances.

BUT, with all due respect to ShoJo, JR is the leading candidate for team MVP this year. That is assuming that he and the team play at this level the remainder of the season. He has logged heavy minutes as the only point guard on the team and has distributed the ball without many turnovers. He is running the show and shooting the ball well.

Keep up the good work! Go Mean Green!

I always liked Rogers more than Roniger at PG. It's unfortunate that we no longer have Scott, but I am glad to see Rogers there, and I believe he is proving every week that he is the man for the job.

You're absolutely right. I've been extremely rough on him. This was mainly due to poor decision making and turnover that you just can't have at the point.

However, he's been great the past few games starting with minimal turnovers and the 18 pts, with a three to win and the free throws to ice it. Great job! Point guard is like a QB, you get more criticism than you should when you loose and more credit than you should when you win. However, he deserves all the credit he's getting the past few games.
