I was there. It was a packed house and they had Fine and Harrell talk. Always eat too much when I go but with a bbq buffet I swing for the fences.

Dumb question but how much is it? I'm assuming everyone gets it if they show up at a certain time, or do you need to tell them you are there for the coaches show?

Yeah you just go up like you’re ordering and say you’re getting the coaches show buffet. It’s 9.99 and they just hand you a plate. Drink is extra

Thanks, I've been wanting to go but haven't.. I'm assuming the buffet starts at like 6/6:30 and is till 7:30/8?

There is no obligation to eat.  Or drink for that matter.  Last night I just walked in and didn't say anything to anybody.  Sit where you wish.  Very friendly crowd.  Clap to get the radio show on and off the air.  

And why information on the coaches show would deserve a down arrow is beyond me.

That's correct. I usually get there around 6:30 and a few people get there even before that and they have the buffet up. I never stay much past 8 but I would assume they would shut it down around then.

 There are likely one or two posters that have fun down voting a lot. The moderators probably see who they are  but there is no reason to identify them publicly.

We actually can't see.  We have the option to make all votes public, but that just leads to endless pissiness back and forth.   So the up/down votes are private.

Sometimes people with big fingers will accidentally hit the wrong button.  It happens.  Don’t let it get you down.  If you see something that looks unfair just negate it by giving it an upvote.  That’s what I do.

welcome to the internet.. the home of you can be bitter and downvote because no one will find out who you are.. But its easy to find out who, when they are on the Online user page, they down vote multiple things in 1 thread and its only them on that thread

Agreed! I started the thread because I had to work late, and usually people are chatting up about they can’t wait til the coaches show, after a big win, etc.  .  But it was complete silence, crickets almost.  So I simply asked the question “was there a coaches show???”  And I get a down vote!?!?? OK clearly I’m WAY outta line asking a question like this.  Guess I owe everyone an apology.  Lol.
