They do have a problem....

Fine and Guyton are juniors next year. Then they have to face them again the year after that.

We tie the series next year then take the lead the year after that and the little fluky start to their little program will be no more.

Once they don't have the lead over us in this series.....what will they have to live for?

Fluky start was no fluke. They were able to overload scholarships. Something someone coming from FCS can't do. They were smart, however, reality will set in for them. Great start though. G5 is a bitch to play in. Way harder than P5 to coach, recruit, and manage.

They had every advantage and were able to use our horrible transition to I-A as an example of what not to do.

I give them major kudos for taking what the system would give them and maximizing on a minimal budget.  They have a tough road being a system school and having to get blessing from the UT system for every step they take.  They have a great city to build around and some advantages we will never have because of the lack of competition for sports entertainment dollar there.

Can you expand on this?  I know they maximized their student fees, but not sure what they did regarding this.
