We wouldn't be celebrating this win if you guys didn't tighten your belts and stand your ground with the sands slipping through the hourglass.

The third down stop by Mr. Roderick Young and tough 2nd half play as a unit made Nutsack punt it on 4th.

They could have tried to go on 4th for 3 yards, but you had them convinced that it would not work.

The defense definitely deserve major props.  There were some plays where the defense could have shut them down completely.  Especially on those QB runs, but they kept the game close enough to win while the offense was sputtering with some very questionable play calling.

Also generally agree. Most of the game the D did an ok job. They did have more trouble vs the run than usually and gave up some really annoying QB draws/scrambles on third and long, but other than that, this was one of their better performances, they held their own on the line for most of the game, and UNT needed every bit they provided. That 3 and out at the end was completly needed to make the hail mason possible

Dual threat qb's are killers. Dalton is a heck of a football player.
