Which is my original thought. Historically, we're terrible after a bye. I think concern, especially against one of the better teams in our conference, is warranted.

"BUT SETH LITTRELL WON AFTER HIS BYE, 7 TURNOVERS, WORLD BEATERS." Hell I hope we smoke nUTSAck by 30 when we play them. History says we won't

i think the original point was that Littrell's only bye resulted in the team looking better prepared than in the past after a bye and winning a game when we usually don't.

that game if i remember correctly, we were heavy dogs to a well thought of team at their place.  regardless if every turnover was because of our doing or their incompetence (you're correct, a couple were gifts) we came to that game prepared and ready to play.  hopefully, that trend continues against another good team after a bye.

An old coach of mine used to say "You Make Your Own Luck."

It's like the old saying, "There's no such thing as luck. Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet."

My key question:

With our offense on fire will the bye cause a stutter in production? We almost never seem to come off a bye ready to go, hopefully Littrell changes this mindset.

My concerns as well.
