Bowl Projections - Week 5

Where would you like to see us play and who?  These are based on current projections

CBS Sports - North Texas v Memphis - Cure Bowl, Orlando 

ESPN - North Texas v. Nebraska - Heart of Dallas Bowl

ESPN - North Texas v. Wyoming - New Mexico Bowl

SB Nation - North Texas v. Army - Armed Forces Bowl

Playing Nebraska in Dallas would be amazing. Down to play Memphis too.

That being said, I would gladly go to Cowtown.

Playing Nebraska in our backyard would be a huge game for our program.

I would like to travel to a bowl game, though.

I'd like the Rose Bowl, but I'll take the Sugar Bowl if we have to. It's just a matter of who we want to beat for our 12th win.

I hope that if we play Memphis and Dickey someone has the sense not to suit us out in black.

Out of those options, I would take Nebraska in a heartbeat. HoD committee knows we can bring fans, so that might help even though they swapped CUSA for Big 12.

It’d be nice to do NM or New Orleans this yr instead of a metroplex bowl.  Definitely don’t want Hawaii or Bahamas.

Y'all, C-USA doesn't have the HoD bowl anymore... so that's not happening.  You would think ESPN (the folks who own the rights & made the change) would know this?

EDIT:  & I'd rather not play Memphis right now. The Wyoming matchup could be a fun one if you like lots of offense!

The Big 10 was supposed to be the opposing team in both HoD bowls we were in, and that didn't seem to matter either.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Big10 didn't have enough bowl-eligible teams to fill the HoD... which is the last bowl in their pecking order.
