Great Game with a comeback from behind at an away stadium against a very quality team  and conference member. Just a perfect experience to help mature a team to reach a new level of play.

Best way to support the team.. get more fans to the game! Bring a friend or a group of friends!

It just feels great to have 3 wins by the end of September. I seriously can't remember the last time that has happened.

I remember when Chico took over after Dodge FINALLY left and went 2-3 bringing us to a season total 3-9.  I was so excited to have that many wins in a year!

In 1978 we had *FIVE* games in September.

Fry beat UTEP, NMSU, UTA, and Okie State.

Lost only to Miss. St.

Wow UTA  that seems historic. When was the last time they snapped a football?

Last season was in 85.  Their last head coach, Chuck Curtis, died just last year.

It was weird that UTA still had a marching band after football was discontinued.  I knew a guy that played in it.  All they did was competitions.  (boring)

In '87 we went 3-1 with the 1 loss to Oklahoma.

The last best start to a season I recall was in '88, we went 2-1 in September including 1 win against Texas Tech, and the 1 loss being the last minute theft game at Texas.  But by October 22nd of that season we were sitting at 6-1 and ranked #1 in the nation in FCS.

I looked it up a while back and I believe we own the series with Texas Tech.

I am still excited about what I saw happen on that Mississippi dirt last night! Our Team stood strong and got the job done!
