I just want to say that driving up to campus from Fort Worth on I35 yesterday, that big battle flag looked absolutely awesome waving in the wind.

Can confirm. The board gives it enough light at night that it doesn't need its own spotlights.

It would be great if they could program the Fight Song to play over the speakers at Sunup and Sundown everyday

It is not.  It gets a bit of light from the nearby sign, but, at this point, it is not lighted.  Hopefully, lighting is on the agenda.  Perhaps lights powered by solar panels to continue the green theme around Apogee?

I saw it last night (9-29).  I was trying to exit I-35W onto I-35 E without taking out a guard rail.  My wife got a better look.  She says if "billows gracefully."

We call it "Big Jim."

So here's a quandary...on game days do you want a nice breeze to completely unfurl the flag in all it's majestic glory (but possibly affect the passing game) or do you want a calm day possibly benefiting the passing game (but leaving the flag limp and hanging down against the pole)?
