This article makes me excited for the future. I can't remember a time where we've had such a deep team with younger talent that is able to contribute so quickly out of high school.

I'm happy for the optimism, but we just barely won our second FBS game in our last 9 attempts.

Well said. SMU out recruited us, and beat us. Based on recruiting we should beat ODU, UTEP, Rice, Army this year.

Everyone else blew us out of the water in the rankings, so we'll truly see how good this talent evaluation is the rest of the year and especially going forward.

But Baylor had outrecruited UTSA???

UAB has out recruited us and we beat them..

I don't think some people understand that recruiting is a game of averages.  neither side is going to prove anything using a singular recruit or game as an argument.

I really like our staff as x-and-os guys.  I honestly believe if we can sign a CUSA top 3 class, we can compete for championships.  Having said that, I think we will never get over the hump if we continue to haul in a class that is the bottom among our peers.
