"We’ve worked hard on creating a winning culture here. You have to be a great teammate, you have to be a selfless teammate, and at the end of the day, I’m not going to compromise for anybody. It’s not happening.”  --Littrell

Whoa.  Sounds like there may be some more that didn't come to the surface.

So, I'm confused.  What happened at the end of the day?

He's off the team. Not to disrespect the young man, but the rest is irrelevant at this point

I believe Mitch Cason is the third quarterback this season. After Cade's redshirt is preserved, he will become one of the 3 options at quarterback in any game next season. Barring injury to both Fine and Shanbour, Cade won't see the field this season.

Did I hear correctly that Shanbour has already graduated and is working on his Masters?

Might be Devin O'Hara

Is Devin O'Hara still involved?  Don't recall seeing much of him lately.  Are we down to 3 QBs?

FWIW, someone asked during the press conference and Littrell confirmed that Pearson moved into the 3rd spot.

Mitch Cason had to quit because of shoulder issues.

Wow I had no idea I just knew he played after Shanbour against Lamar and won the weekly quarterback game that Harrell puts on recently.

Actually he is working on two Masters.

The man must be very smart. Never heard of student working on two graduates degrees at one time.

I've been told that no student really can. He will either hate the one degree and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other.

I'm not an academic, but apparently it's impossible to serve two different program deans at the same time.

Hilarious. I literally laughed out loud.

O'Hara left the team before the season started

Are you sure? He won the QB challenge last week and played vs Lamar...

could you have him mistaken with O'Hara who left the team before the season?

I like what you did there.

  • mitchcasonFootball has given me a lot over the last 12 years. It’s been a great teacher of selflessness, dedication, and the value hard work. Unfortunately, with some new shoulder issues and another surgery likely necessary, I can’t justify continuing to play. I’ll never forget the lessons I’ve learned, relationships I’ve formed, and experiences I’ve had thanks to this sport. #GMG
