It depends though.  Jenkins is good in pass coverage.  He needs work in the run game and play recognition.  If they switch Hall to the boundary corner, then Jenkins can move to the field corner.  The Boundary corner has to be good at stopping the run.  Nate was better than Davis and Jenkins and reading and stopping the run last year, so I understand why he was out there starting...at least on 1st and 2nd down...but on 3rd and long, Nate can come out.  In some goaline situations Nate can come out.

I don't know much about Hall, but if he can play the Boundary Corner, then that could give us more options with the substitutions.  Jenkins isn't an ideal boundary corner.  Hall seems to play physical and I have heard a lot of good things.  It's worth a try. At minimum, get Nate out on 3rd and longs.

At this point, with the # of times Brooks has been burnt deep.. I would rather have Jenks on a running play than Brooks on a passing play..

Also, the run defense has been a positive so far, pass defense not so much.. give me a man who can cover

Gee, a better team with better players. And I didn't say they were head and shoulders above us, although I think UTSA,La. Tech ,So. Miss,MTSU, and WK are. There are, in my opinion 7 very good to good CUSA programs, and 7 bad to very bad. At present we are in the bottom category, but will move up if recruiting can gain traction . We have a good coaching staff, and in 3 to 5 years could be very good.

And we beat both Marshall and Southern Miss last year, so I see no reason we can't beat them again.  We crapped the bed at UTSA and played poorly.  WK and La Tech are both not as good as last year, especially WK.  I do not qualify us as bad to very bad.

Well, we don't play Marshall this year, and we got So. Miss at home after their star QB was lost for the season.UTEP and Rice are only games left on our schedule that we are ranked above, so why would you not qualify us as bad to very bad. We were lucky to beat a very bad team Saturday at home.

Well, we split games with Army last year and I believe we are much better than we were last year.  I also believe we are better than FAU, ODU, UTEP, Army and Rice regardless of the rankings.  As far as our other games, UTSA, La Tech and Southern Miss, the only team I consider better than us is La Tech, but I think they are weaker than in the past.  Southern Miss hasn't proven anything this year and there is no reason we shouldn't come out of there with a win.

With the teams I consider us better than, if we beat all of them, that will get us to 7 wins.  Beat one of the remaining three and we will be at my prediction of 8 wins.  I trust our offense to continue to improve throughout the year and I think Ref will get our d squared away.

TCU was also rated 10 spots behind Okie State.  Just sayin'
