.....does not suck this week. Thank you for a job well done this week. Much improved. Putting Connor Howard back with Evan Johnson looked like a really good move.

Huge night for ST, even with the bad snap...

Huge KR, multiple long kicks, and a block as well.

I f'n hate the weird PAT arrangement and then adjustment every time though. To what purpose does it serve?? This is especially frustrating with a green long snapper down there having to block out all the moving pieces around him.

That was my first reaction. Then I rationalized it by thinking there is a 2-point option there somewhere that might emerge later in the season when we desperately need a 2-point conversion. Just SWAG.

It makes other teams to be aware on PATs..

If they don't line up correctly they can snap it to Quinn and they can go in for 2... Make the other team be aware every single play you have the ball

This.  Western Kentucky pulled this off against Louisiana Tech last week, but in their case the center pitched it to the side rather than snapping it back

See the 1:37 mark:

To make other teams have to prepare for a fake or 2 point play.

Alright, I can live with that.

It is called Swinging Gate.  A lot of teams will have to spend an extra 30 minutes or more of practice time making sure they line up correctly and knowing who has who in coverage.  It is brilliant because it takes practice time away from other things they could/should be focusing on.

...and if the opposing team isn't prepared properly, easy two point conversion.
