That was my first reaction as well, but I think the casual fan, student, or Alum probably doesn’t have a clue what this flag is.  Hopefully these will be seen again outside of Apogee, and it might be a good association for someone who might be clueless otherwise.

That would be awesome. I’ll check in with you after the game. Wish I could make it down.

Wells Fargo also giving away drawstring backpacks to the first 1,000 entrants. You know, the kind they would confiscate at the gate.

Why the text instead of just the flag? Kind of lessens the appeal to me.

Agreed.  Technically, I'm not sure that's really a flag.  This is more like a wall hanging or banner with an image of the flag on it...a North Texas Battle Flag Banner.  At least we didn't make the big one on the flag pole like this.  Applaud the effort, however, to generate fan support, interest and attendance.

Let's hope new versions of the mini helmets don't have a "North Texas Helmet" decal on them.  This is RV mentality of the highest order.

Notice Fine is in that battle flag ad.  Didn't they see the last 2 minutes of the 1st half of the Iowa game??!

I guess they were so blown away with the second half where no TD passes were thrown, that they just didn't notice.

Fine is in what ad?

And BTW, in all of my sarcastic comments,  I have not been lobbying for a "regime change". I've been needling a certain person who, up to this point, has not chosen to acknowledge QS's existence, much less his ability to play at this level of college football.  All I'm hoping for is acknowledgment that this guy can play.....or maybe "it looks like this guy can play".

Sorry you are so "sarcasm impaired".

Fine's picture in this ad would be better suited for Xanax...

Not really sure what the photographer was trying to capture...

Ok... enough action shots... show me... 'Boredom'!

Players have been wearing it as a head band.
