We are still at least 4 years away but probably longer. There is a better chance of the Feds taking it off schedule 1 than Patrick and Abbott agreeing to allow it here.

I think scientific tests need to be developed to better determine whether someone is too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle.

Also, just because marijuana is legal to smoke/consume, employers won't be changing their drug policies.

For law enforcement yes, but let's say there is an accident in a person's workplace, how would someone who hasn't received that kind of training be able to determine if someone has diminished mental faculties other than a blood draw? There are legal (non-criminal) reasons why people involved in a workplace accident are immediately taken for a drug test.

Oh, in that case, they would probably just send the employee for a piss test.  I'm not sure there is a need to send managers in for ARIDE training just for weed.  I would suspect that companies would just use the random drug testing.  That's been pretty much the standard.
