I hate how a matter of fact Littrell is. Like, Dude, you're 6-10 here at UNT. You have no pedestal or credit to stand on or to work with.

Accept the ST blow hard. Then, say you're going to fix it.

Accept that the team was waaaay undisciplined on Saturday. Though ticky tack, you don't help yourself up off the ground by ways of someone's face mask. You don't go low on a defender being blocked. You don't grab facemasks, you don't talk shit when you're winning...especially when you're getting beat, you don't reach out because you got beat and you're tired, you don't do these things to the tune of 13 flags and 120 yards. The team hurt their own O or helped the opposing teams O from goal post to goal post on Saturday. Then, he gets on his pedestal and takes offense to being called an undisciplined football team. Well, Coach, you were on Saturday.

Is marijuana now legal in Denton? We had two possession in the fourth quarter. The first began backed up at our own 8, and ended 10 yards later at the 18. The second, after another Iowa touchdown, began at our own 25...then, Fine promptly threw an interception on the first play.

So, to recap (...for Coach Littrell even...), we ran five plays in the fourth quarter for 10 whole yards...and never crossed our own 25.

Someone explain how this is "opportunity to win in the fourth quarter." Are we that far into Participation Trophy territory already?

Having watched lots of football in my lifetime he is right. we did have an opportunity to win the game in the 4th quarter. meaning that the game was not out of reach. Did we do anything in the 4th quarter to win the game? NO!!! He didn't say we were close to winning, he said we had a chance to win. BIG Difference.

We can bitch and moan all we want and be disappointed, but the fact remains, this is the first time since 2013 we have gone on the road to a P5 and had a legit chance to win the game going into the 4th quarter. That is a step in the right direction. Is it acceptable, no, but does show signs of progress and i will take that at this point in time.

TFLF, North Texas was down 3 going in to the 4th quarter. The team did have a chance, but they did not take advantage of their chance.

When the quarter started down by 3 points = A chance to win the game

Later in the 4th Quarter down by 10 points = A chance to win the game

again, you don't seem to understand the wording of a "chance" to win the game, and "close" to winning the game. As the 4th quarter winded down our "chances" became less and less, but down 3 points going into the 4th quarter by any metric known to man, is a giving yourself a "chance" to win the game.

Its called a turnover.

Hang with me, sixth play the RB gets hit low is flipped in the air and the ball is knocked out being scooped up by a UNT player and taken to the house for 6 points.

If that doesnt work for you lets try another, 7th play there is a miscommunication between the center and the QB. The center snaps the ball early QB's hands arent ready ball is on the ground and we fall on it. Now we have the ball on the plus side of the field down 3. Is this an opportunity to take the lead?

Hopefully, I do not need more examples but its literally a game of inches. We did not take care of our business and gave away 4.284 inches out of pure stupidity. (119 yards in penalties)

Really, a stop by our defense on any of the plays 6-12 before Iowa was in FG range could have forced a punt out of Iowa, but that never occurred, so, yep.
