Overall I think our offensive line played well.  They gave up some pressure but for the most part they were left on their own against a B10 defense.  Granted, I don't think that B10 defense is anything to write home about.

Agreed the OL was better than we had likely expected but Fine still got lit up.. Let's hope Murray can handle CUSA edge rushers, because he got owned by SMU and Iowa (at times)

I don't know how many times Barr was called, but it was pointed out one holding he was called for he wasn't blocking anyone, which I hope has a reason and not him missing his block or somethinf

Sid Moore is playing at an all C-USA level.  Felt like our run defense was solid until the offense left them on the field too much in the second half.

I thought the line as whole played their asses off , especially Moore.. Can't wait till English is healthy & we can rotate guys even more

Gotta agree.. the DL is doing what we expected of the DB in terms of being the strongest unit of the defense.. I'm hoping that English can take us to another level in terms of getting guys to play up a level.. 

English will be the heart/soul of this defense once he is back, which they need someone to step up.. we need someone who can make a key play at a key time .

Agree with a lot of this but I don't think the criticism of Barr is warranted. He had two holding penalties and I replayed both plays multiple times. Never saw him holding. 

That crew was horrible both ways. I am assuming a Big 10 crew. 

The ESPN coverage was poor and appeared to be part of the Big 10 Network. Couldn't get Coach Littrell's name correct and just poor overall.

Nope, other team gets the ball at the 20 ala Don Beebe/Leon Lett

      Jason Edwards transfers to....Providence?

      A move like that kills all sports unless you've gotten all of our donors lined up to agree that they will, in fact, still give the same amount and are 'Ok' with using that money on basketball only. I suspect that the reality is that MANY of our big hitters are here for football first and basketball second. Kill that off and you likely lose them entirely.

      Viewers NIT Semifinal

      The Crown that Fox created gave Nebraska $300k for its NIL, while giving UCF's NIL $100k for making it to the final. I did see that Tulane and Boise State were both in this. I wonder if we got offered a spot here. If so, I'd have to wonder if its not the smarter path. At least the winner of this event gets something we need badly, $$$$. The NIT Final Four was fun to see mid majors, but it isn't going to translate for eyeballs, as we just saw. I was impressed with the coverage Fox gave this thing--they had their main pre-game guys doing coverage, and then had their #1 CBB team covering the games in Vegas. ESPN treats the NIT like its, well, the NIT...

      2025 Spring Portal Entries

      For 2025 we have 12 recruits (11 high school and 1 JUCO, I believe). We have 26 transfers in and 30 transfers out (although not all have found new schools). This is what it is now, a revolving door roster although not to the level we saw last year. It will be interesting to see what the recruit (high school/JUCO) to transfer is over time. For 2025 for every 1 recruit, we brought in 2.36 transfers. It seems this is what we've been asking for...to hit the portal hard, but is this ratio too low, too high or just right?

      I hope he sticks around, but as I said numerous times throughout the season I would never want to trust him as a number 1 option for our '25 roster, so if the investment has to be between B-Lo and a big time scoring guard, give me the latter.

      When the hell did we sign this guy?

      My point was that despite the offer list 247 rated him this highly giving their honest evaluation. Of the next 30 running backs ranked below him, 26 are committed to power teams including Tennessee A&M Michigan penn state USC. Obviously they see something in him to give him that kind of ranking.
