Brett, you should add the 1997 and 1999 wins over Texas Tech in Lubbock.  Those were huge wins that made everyone in Texas take notice!  Unfortunately, the rest of those seasons didn't turn out the way we hoped, but for one week in each of those years it felt really good!  I wish we'd renew that series.  It's a very competitive one, historically speaking.

You're aware we have a home and home set up with them wayyyy into the future, right? It's no series like we have with SMU, but it's better than nothing.

Oh, that's right!  I forgot...probably because it's so far away, but very good!  Thanks for the reminder!

Where does Brett come up with this stuff, "Those long odds don't matter to UNT's players. They grew up dreaming of playing for nationally prominent programs in power leagues and relish their opportunity to prove they belong on the big stage."  How does he know what each UNT player dreamt of growing up?

Baylor and Syracuse <> Iowa.

With UNT's scheduling luck, if we were to put either Baylor or Syracuse on our schedule, it would be the one year they make the CFP playoffs with all their players  roided up and hyped up from all the hookers and blow they did that morning while their unscrupulous soon to flee to the NFL coach watched on.

Another P5 victory only ever happens if we can downgrade our body bag games from Alabama and LSU to Kansas and Duke.
