Loved this combo. Flat black helmets looked damn good, and the grey jerseys were a nice change up. Glad to see this staff is with the times when it comes to uniforms.

I think when they look at the other uniforms that made that list, they are still just fine with their stance.  Just guessing.

Heading up to Baylor I was keeping up with the UNT score.  Got excited with yall winning early.  Would have been nice seeing their SMUG faces after yall won.  Didnt get to see it this year but September 1st 2018 we will!!!

Of this list, I think UNT and Pitt are ok, Oregon and VaTech are terrible, and Houston is the best.

I liked Pitt except for the chinstrap.  You wouldn't think it would make much difference, but it really took away from the total look for me.  Also, I'm not crazy about the fact that Pitt is gold and these unis were bright yellow.

I like ours except for the jersey.  As a couple of others have mentioned, they just looked kind of dingy.  I will say that they look better in the pictures than they did in person.

Those Pitt uniforms were the ones I remember them having when I was a kid - loved those.

 

All the others on this list were pretty lame IMHO.

If there's any masonry involved, it looks like paver stones to me. I think Lowe's has that exact same pattern and color.
