Main Video Board

Sorry if this has already been mentioned in another thread but was wondering why the sides of the video board were black on Saturday? Usually they show both the stats of the game but also scores from other games. Was it not functioning because of technical problems and if so why wasn't it fixed prior to game time?

I don't remember the sides of the main board being used for this.  I thought the sides were used for advertisements, and to cover for the stairs leading to the top.

Yeah, come to think about it, I believe you are correct.

I think what you are remembering was the video part was shrunk down in the past and the remaining part of the screen (bottom and sides) were used to show stats.  It appeared to me they used the north video board primarily for stats, and the used the main video board as a full video, with the exception of the bottom that was used for advertisements.

UH game. Nothing has changed. Have lots of photos from '11-'13. The all have the SOW wings.

Thanks. My bad. I remembered after UNTLifer joggled my memory. I did notice that the stats were on the other board.

Yeah I kept glancing up looking for the stats and had to remind myself that they were on the North board. Makes sense that we use the bigger board for the big video.
