Last night's game was a prime example of the Denton support UNT has. A Chamber of Commerce meeting was held that attendees took up nearly all the Pit side of Fouts field parking. I assume that UNT is involved in this meeting to help promote UNT and hopefully increase attendence for the game. It is pitiful that not more than a handful at most, could make the effort to support UNT through their attendence by walking 50 feet from the Gateway Center and going to the game.

Another subject, Why can't UNT schedule the weekday games at 7:30 and give the DFW fans a chance of avoiding some of the traveling problems.

According to the SBC office, the school's getting increased attendance despite the earlier tipoff time. Maybe the rationale is to get more Denton families to come out, and still be able to get home by 9PM or so.

Like has been mentioned before, maybe the earlier start time is there to encourage families to come. If some fun activities for kids can be added around the SuperPit for before the games maybe we will see better attendence than we would with a later start time.

I think 7 o'clock is a good time but if people think the games should start at 7:30 then they need to get a bunch of people together or a petition together to try to help themselves out, gripping on the board isnt going to help that much

Starting 30 mins later is fine with me, but with the schedule I currently work, I have to leave right around 9pm no matter what. ph34r.gif
