There is nothing respectable about being a 2 TD dog. It's disrespectful and fans, coaches, and players should see it as such.

How is it disrespectful? It's just a betting line trying to get the same amount of money to bet on each side of the equation.

It's a road game against a team in a better perceived conference with a better perceived head coach and we're still widely seen as the team that got blown out 66-7 by Portland State and went 1-11 2 seasons ago. I'll take just being 12 point underdogs.

Yes it sucks, but no one is going to be betting on UNT...

Go out and win the game, and then we can worry about what Vegas says..

We were 100+ in offense last year, no idea but defense was slightly better... We still allowed 30+ a game..

Also, I have no idea but college works but the NFL gives you +3 just being at home, so I would say even if its true/the same for college then SMU is only a 9-point fav.

Bulletin board material.

Thousands of bookies and a select big named betting agencies are betting on UNT to lose by 2 touchdowns. How is this not disrepectful.

It is disrespectful but why wouldn't it be 12? look at our stats last year, they were terrible

I don't see it as disrespectful. I see it as opportunity....if I had a bookie or lived in Vegas.

Teams are disrespected until they earn respect. There is no reason to be less than 12 at this point. We lost by 13 at home last year. I think we are better than last year, and so does this line.

Earn it.

Uh, that isn't how lines work.

I'm surprised it isn't more. I mean they are SMOOO (sarcasm here} . Until we beat them consecutively we're never going to be on top....especially a Ford Stadium......JUST WIN!

No one? I bet on us last week -20. I'll damn sure bet on us again. You are exactly right about home teams getting points just for being home. We should have a good following to the game and we got beat on Sutton's few big plays and the scrambling qb.

Wow I guess 90 started a trend of supporting other DFW teams. First TCU & now SMU.

I don't think he's supporting SMU.

And 90 was at the game on Saturday.
