So first the good news: No C-USA team embarrassed themselves by losing to a FCS tam, and C-USA went 4-0 in that department.

However personally I gotta say C-uSA has to do better than this weekend, where it went 1-7 vs FBS tams. And not all of those 7 opponents were the class of the power 5 either. Yes some (Stanford, Oklahoma), but the rest (EMU, Kentucky, Navy, Vandy, UCF) should have yielded more than the one win over Miami(Oh). Conference needs to do better.

I agree. If week one is any indicator, then Cusa is a weak conference this season. That presents opportunity for us nonetheless.

I gotta say the beating the FCS thing isn't meaningless,  but I think I gottta go a while back to opening weekend with fewer upsets. Despite a lot of close games, this year there were only 4 FCS wins in week one (Baylor, East Carolina, UNLV and Georgia Southern)

UNLV will provide cover for all these losses.  They were 43 pt favorites and lost to Howard.  Yahoo says biggest upset ever.

Ehhhhh, while I'm glad people apparently have short memories, our Portland State loss certainly claims that title.
